front drum to disk brakes

front drum to disk brakes

When doing a conversion for front drum to disk is it required to replace steering knuckles

If you are doing it correctly, with factory parts, you use factory disc spindles.

long story i had purchased all the factory parts to convert to disk drakes. I recently disassembled all components of the frame to have everything resanded and repainted.

i am in the midst of reassembling everything on the frame and was only asking because i noticed that the steering knuckle if turned to much can touch the lower control arm.

That will happen until you assemble the entire suspension and steering and have the car at ride height. Don't make a problem that where one doesn't exist
