frame off help!!!???

I have an 83 cutlass that I have lifted off the frame a few inches but need some ideas on how to get it lifted up higher to roll frame out! I am just working in my house garage so I do not have any way to attach to a beam up high for a chain hoist......Anybody out there with a clever simple idea???? Thanks!!

Engine hoist for the front / cowl area - 4 to 6 of your closest friends for the back end.

I put mine on 2 sets of steel 55 gallon drums with a 3x12 plank...very do-able

If you remove the rear tires and support the differential with a floor jack, that will also get you additional clearance as you roll it out. If you really need more room, remove the differential and just slide the rear of the frame on the floor.

I lifted the body/frame with a floor jack under the diff and under the front cross member separately, jackstands, then drums and boards under the rear quarters behind the wheels. I made an A frame across the firewall to support the front (front clip removed). Remove the body bolts, lower the frame/suspension and roll it out. You can use wheels only at the rear if the rear tires wouldn't clear the body at the height you chose.
