frame motor mounts on 73 delta 88

frame motor mounts on 73 delta 88
i have a 73 delta 88 convertible. my dad did an engine swap 20 plus years ago with a buick 455. he had to use the buicks frame mounted mounts to make the buick fit. im putting an olds 425 in there now and the engine block motor mounts didnt line up with the buicks, the buicks are wider. he cant find the original ones from the olds 455 he had in there. i looked on the web and couldnt find any for the delta, but found them for the 455 cutlass on ebay., so i bought them. i havent fully got to install them yet, and they fit within the engine motor mounts i have for the 425(same mounts as the 455) my question is are these cutlass frame mounts the same as the delta 88's ?

1) Yes, Buick frame and motor mounts are completely different from Olds mounts.
2) The Olds rubber motor mounts MUST match the frame mounts. EVERY Olds V8 from 1964-1990 has the motor mount attachment in exactly the same place.
3) If you were using the original frame mounts, you need to use Anchor P/N 2328 motor mounts with ANY Olds motor.
4) I don not know if the Cutlass frame mounts will mate up to the full size frame
5) Every 1971-1975 Olds full size (Delta 88 or Ninety Eight) with any Olds V8 (350 or 455) has the frame mounts you need. Just be aware of the 1975 D88s that came with the Pontiac 400 motor. Those will obviously not work.

yes i did buy the rubber motor mounts 2328
i also see that the engine block mounts that pull up for my 73 delta 88
and 71 cutlass 455 are 2328
so im guessing that the frame mounts for the big block cutlass i found on ebay...ill attach the pic, will bolt up to the block mounts....im looking at my frame and see there are several holes that can be bolted to...forward on these buick ones...has to be rearward for the olds ones.
still tryn to get a pic of a 73 delta 88 frame mounts...hopefully if somone here was parting out a 73 delta 88, they can snap a pic of the engine compartment without the motor
