Was down to see my buddy Peter last week at his shop. He said drop by and have a look at the Cutlass he has coming in today.
So I did. 1968 Post Sports Coupe. Pics aren't all that good because it was in the shop. The paint job is actually terrible; prep sucks and there's overspray in a lot of areas. Originally it was color code D upper lower - sapphire blue.
The car still has it's original 400 and TH400 tranny. Nothing really special about the driveline - plain jane, not even limited slip. Sounded healthy when Pete fired it up.
The car was built in Oshawa. I noticed that right off when I looked at the VIN - production plant code 1. Got pics of the VIN and Cowl
At least the stripe is in the right place. Everything else was out to lunch especially that spoiler and air cleaner.
