Foam to OAI Flapper Adhesive

Foam to OAI Flapper Adhesive

What is the best way to attach the new foam seal to the flapper OAI assembly ? Thanks in advance.

3M Weatherstrip Adhesive.

You don't need a lot, just a thin "shmear" on the plastic top.

X2 on this. A little goes a long way. The originals were a mess - a bead randomly applied with some actually going over the sides of the channel.

Yup 3M adhesive X3. Great stuff and works really well for any rubber or plastic.

I've never used adhesive after replacing mine. Stays in place fine without it. Been like that for 20+ years. Tom
