The fix was in Live Oak car show

The hospital my daughter and son in law works at had a small car show last week and I was requested to attend. This was a host judged no classes affair and my car did win a third place award. I do believe they stuffed the ballot box but what the hay,Pay back for putting her through nursing school. There were only about 50 or so cars and and a lot were hot rods, no Oldsmobiles but mine but I'm getting use to that.

here is a sample of what caught my eye....Tedd

Nice job Tedd. Lessie (my 54) has her first show on Sunday. It is held by Texas Classic Cars of Dallas who are the folks that have sold 6 cars for me out of Richard Lau's estate including the 50 Olds convertible. Other than being about 98 degrees, I am looking forward to it. I will post pictures of course. I worked on the car two days last weekend when it was a high of 103. I was in the garage with several fans going. Most of the time was up under the dash chasing electrical gremlins. Most are now gone.

Austin (my nephew from NC) and I were in Live Oak on Saturday. We ran over to United Truck. Of course we were driving my 59 Dodge. Unfortunately we didn't hear of the show until 3:00pm that afternoon.

Sorry we missed it.

Your car would have done well there ,it was a fun low key family affair with a bounce house for the kids. A lot of local cars there that I never see at the larger shows made it interesting. My grand kids loved it because they got their pictures taken in my car.....Tedd

Redoldsman, good to see the gremlins disappearing, I can almost guarantee you car will be the only 54 convertible in the show, that's one fine ride! Let us know how you make out .....Tedd
