First run of the year
Of course up here in Michigan we have to wait till salt has been washed off the roads! Well the weather gods have smiled with warm temps ( mid 40's) and sun. Of course charged the battery and do a complete safety and fluid check, all good on those points.
So I am out cruising to warm everything up to do an oil change, sad part was that last years total was 554 miles! Running the busy road here in my home town and some guy in the opposite lane coming at me leaning out the window from his Alero give the thumbs up and yelling something.
A few miles down the road a black Cadillac SRX goes by and then slows down to match my speed and rolls down the passenger window and this nice looking blond lady is waving at me and smiling! ( I don't have a clue on who it was)
So a good day in my opinion!

Hey Pat, Good to hear from you. Boy things must be a lot different in Grand Ledge than up here in Harrison. (We moved). Up here there's still a lot of snow and the roads are all slushy. I remember a few years ago we went out with the Olds on a early spring sunny day and noticed piles of salt still on the dry road. I usually wait until I know the salt has been washed off by some rain. I'm worried about the salt powder going up in the car and then getting wet later. Glad to hear you had a nice ride. Greg.
