I must be losing it. April 7 came and went and somehow I forgot her birthday. She didn't say anything though and just sat there huddled in her corner wrapped in a warm snuggly.
She was born April 7, 1972. What a coincidence, she was born in Lansing MI. At the time I didn't have a clue where that even was. Right after she was born she moved to Ontario Canada for a short time, and then moved to Edmonton where I live. Dad was the one who noticed her first. I guess he had an eye for nice curves and sensual beauty. It was love at first sight I guess.
She came to live with us that week and I had a hard time keeping my hands off her, she just felt so good to be around. I especially loved when it was bath time; we both got wet together - sometimes it was a lot of fun sometimes not. We both used to go on trips to the lake or wherever and sometimes we got pretty rambunctious and a lot dirty.
I kind of lost touch of her for awhile when she went to live with my brother, who in all honesty kind of abused her. When I found out about that I went over and set everything straight. She came home with me that same day and hasn't left my protection ever since. I pamper the hell out of her most of the time and I'm not adverse to giving her the once over now and then. I think we both enjoy it.
Well, I made amends yesterday. I apologized for my oversight and she seemed to know I meant it. I'll be sure to pamper her more than ever, especially now that it's getting towards nice weather. She loves going out in the sun and enjoying a nice trip anywhere she can stretch out her muscles and feel the wind rushing by.
I'm so lucky to have her in my life. My son and wife also know how much she means to me. It's always good to have a wife who understands about the other lady, especially one who's age is as timeless as hers. After all these years her complexion is still flawless, even though her hair has turned a bright shade of silver.
You thought maybe I was talking about a GF?? Naw, it's

She didn't really like coming out in this weather, but it was such a nice breath of fresh air.
Sounds like she's going to need a good waxing after being huddled in her corner for so long.
Light a few candles for her, she would probably fire rite up on ya and blow em all out.
Just don't get overly anxious about getting into her with all the white stuff around.
Great story and post
Put-r-ther

I always buy her something nice almost every year. She's pampered and I think her middle name is NOS...

Oh ye of little faith, she hasn't been on jack stands for close to 3 years now. She's graduated to a walker (well they're really called wheel dolly's). Much easier to move her around in the cave. Very little to do before she's turn key again, and this year won't be another MAW disaster if I can help it.

Yup, wax on, wax off. She's always been good to fire right up after waking up. One of the most dependable engines I've ever run into.
I can't tell you the thoughts I'm thinking right now, but they are dirty, dirty thoughts...like how I'd like to be the mud on those mudflaps. I'll stop now before you hunt me down.

Now That's funny! Try harder, there's no mud anywhere on or under this car...
....72 plate on front.......nice looking car Allan!
Thanks Ted! I bet you'd love to sled that home huh? It would cost a fortune to drive it now with the 3.42 posi. I bet it could pass almost anything on the road but a gas station. We'll soon see.
Yup, the 72 plate on the front belonged to it back in 72. Used to have 2 plates back then, like in ON and other provinces. This one was in the best shape so I kept it. Now it's also legally registered to the vehicle so I can bolt it onto the back when I take it to a show. I also have an 'antique auto' plate for it. The front will have the Dealer Oldsmobile plate I bought on ePay years ago.
Dave, back in 2008. You're probably wondering because of the snow? They were pics taken by the appraiser. I thought they looked pretty nice so I scanned them. It still looks like that good BTW.

Are you bringing the car to the Olds show in July?
