First, let me say, I'm not bragging, but I just wanted to let you guys know that an Olds had a good showing. I took my 69 442 to a show yesterday in Gatesville Tx. It is a pretty large local type show. (26 yrs) There were about 120 cars total with about 20 muscle cars (my class) There were 2 Olds, mine and a 63 Drag car. I received a lot of attention about the 442 during the show. Most people had not seen one in a while. Anyway, the cars were judged by the local car club, and the 442 was awarded "Best Overall Muscle Car' I was pleasantly surprised. I thought ya'll might like to hear about an Olds getting a little respect.

Super nice! And it's great to see they had a real "Muscle Car" class instead of a designation of muscle cars that included former 6-cylinder Novas all chromed out and big V8s crowned with super chargers towering above the hood. A real "Muscle Car" class - sounds like you went to a great show!

GREAT! Nice to see an OLDS getting all that attention....Chevy's and Fords are common in most shows, so a classic Olds really stands out...
