Fender quest

If I find a set of OEM fenders for 71-72 cutlass new never used still in the box , what are they worth? And how do I know they aren't after market repacked in GM box?

Probably a few hundred each for NOS fenders. They should have stickers on them. One of the other fellows here will chime in I'm sure. ps do you still have those rims for sale? cheers Orrick

fenders seem to be all over the place lately. I have seen decent used 71/72 for 50 - 150 all day. Then I see 71/72 NOS for 400 one day 700 another day.

There was another thread here where some of us commented on the difference. One way to tell is there is a nut welded on to the fender if it is square it is an old NOS if it is 6 sided it is a new repo. I think there was another difference as well. The repos are bit thinner gauge too

I can relate; just today I received an email from a guy who wants $1,000 for a NOS fender And, as mentioned in the post below, the fender would have to have the "A pillar tab" re-worked for more money.
