Very cool picture. Nice to have one from each year. Noticeable differences between the years?
Taillights and grills are the changes most readily observable by the casual looker. Front end of the '70 is significantly different but the 71/72 are overall very similar due to their production history.

The '71 is currently my favorite, likely due to it being my first Olds and having driven it the past two years while accumulating parts and making plans for the restoration. The '70 is too new to the collection for me to have really bonded with, but that car will be the focus of my efforts for the next while. Engine swap, brakes, interior, tackling the other odds and ends.
The '71 will go on the back burner for now but I'll keep it in running condition. While common sense suggests I should sell it, I'm not ready to do that this year at least.
The '72 will be sold later this spring or summer. I bought it for parts that were on it with no plans to keep it. The engine is a low mile rebuild which runs great, transmission has a shift kit, so they'll be getting swapped with the 260 ci that's in the '70 now. Fenders are solid, minimal if any rot in the heels, they're destined for the '71. Strato buckets inside will be kept and replaced with nondescript generic buckets. Plan is to do the parts swaps and sell it as a running driver.

That's my problem as well. It's cool being able to line up the three cars like that but I can't realistically keep them all. Time, space and SWMBO are all significant considerations!
