The side marker lights with the star bursts are a very nice touch... Immediately draws your attention to the entire photo...

Believe it or not I didn't do a thing to make those, just snapped (over about a 30 second exposure) the photo. What really makes them pop is most likely the fact that I pulled all the light housings 2 weeks ago and detailed them, then replaced all of the running light bulbs (sans headlights) with sylvania zevo leds. The colors are crisp and the lights are bright as heck. Use a Novita EP34 flasher for those interested and everything works flawlessly. And the lights pull about .2 volts each! I had them on for over a half hour with no loss of battery voltage lol!

Thanks for the complements!

Here is the same photo untouched, the bursts are there just the same.

Do you mean .2 Amps each? Been on vacation for nearly 2 weeks and the engineer in me is getting bored.

a guy I used to know had a 69 Chrysler hemi muscle car that a poster company paid him to feature for a line of posters they sold.your picture tops the line of posters they sold. Your photography skills are worth pursuing as a side hobby. If I still had my black 72 I would have loved to have you work your magic with it to hang on my wall. Now that it's gone and I miss it it would have been cool to have a photo like that to show it off in the best light to folks who were not lucky enough to see it. Have you thought about an eBay ad to see if there is a demand for that image?

I just took the photo last night...never thought of doing that lol! Good idea though...might have to explore that. I'll be taking more in a couple weeks once the interior is here and I get it all installed.

Watts? Rated at 12.8 volts and <1.5 watts each. Better? Idk...they don't draw crap, that's best way I know how to put it lol

The pictures look great! Thanks for sharing!

Now those LEDs, where did you buy them from? Have you upgraded the head lights too?

Looks wonderful! A little idea for you. Try wetting down the pavement for another reflection of the light!

All the LED's are Sylvania Zevo 1157 (Amber for parking lights, Red behind red lense, white for reverse) and 195 (Amber behind yellow lense, Red behind red lense).

Advance sells some of them or you can get all of them on amazon.

To make them pop I pulled the lights housings (parking, tail, reverse - I did license plate too but they don't make a led for it) and cleaned the crap out of them and then painted them with gloss white enamel spray paint. I baked them in the oven on low for an hour or so. After baking the enamel was almost like a powdercoat.

I didn't touch the headlights because I'd eventually like to put HID's but there's not an affordable option for an HID housing.
