Exhaust vs Dip Stick

Need advise!!
Had Hooker headers. The collectors were way to low, about 4 inches lower then the car. I want to lower the car just a little bit2-3 inches. I am not a speed demon so I bought a pair of used exhaust manifolds. I cut the old headers off and when I went to install the new one, the dip stick is in the way. I can not bend it enough to get it out of the way and am worried about breaking the housing. So now I am thinking about shorty headers.
Any advise? Very stressed.

I also already had a go around with this dip stick. I went through 4 before I found one that fit. It was for a 6 cyl. I am driving a 69 cutlass supreme with a 350.

Thanks in advance.

Dipstick goes behind the exhaust manifold. There is a slot for it

What Trip is saying the dip stick goes in between the head and the exhaust manifold.
