Exact Detail 1970 Olds 442 W-30 convert Agean Aqua diecast

I am finishing up getting rid of my diecast cars 1 /18 size most of them i sold locally but among the ones i have left i have one of the special order Exact Detail 1970 Olds 442 W-30 convert Agean Aqua, its number #9 0f 650. Its the one where you had to vote on what color they would make it and the winning color was Agean Aqua. I cant find any information online of any of them getting sold so i have no idea of its worth? Any diecast collectors out there that are aware of its value? Not looking to get best price i can, just a fair price for both parties.

Thanks for any help
Greg

No advice on pricing, but I’ll provide a photo example. I hope that you recover at minimum what you’re hoping for. These are pretty nice for folks that appreciate them.😊

Were these 1:18 or 1:24 scale?
Do you still have the original packaging? That seems to make a difference in value.

Now that’s funny!! I can’t remember what the original price was I think it was like $109 or $119 I remember it was a pre order had to pay for them ahead and when they sold all 650 of them then they made them and send them to you.

I googled Exact Detail 1970 Olds 442 W-30 convert Agean Aqua diecast. The prices are all over the place even the special editions cars.
I guess its what you'd be comfortable with that matters. You wont loose money.
Might be able to make a few to the right buyer with a full size car that color.

ya this particular one was just a big deal at that time letting popular voting decide what color it would be I had a car that color at that time so it was a big deal for me to get one back then

I’ve been collecting these better quality 1:18 scale for over twenty years now. When this particular edition became available, it was almost immediately spoken for and deemed “unobtainium”. I was able to acquire one, ten years ago on the typical resale internet site, and have enjoyed it since….(clearly) If you have one in excellent/new condition with the original packaging and paperwork, I’d suggest to aim high of $200 and adjust based on your personal scenario. What was paid originally is negligible twenty years later, just ask any reputable financial professionals. Based on the current market and availability, I’d suggest that the Exact Detail Agean Aqua 1970 W30 convertible models are not going to be depreciated anytime soon. Good luck with your sale and hopes that you’ll never have seller’s remorse.

That's kind of the range I'd been thinking as well, although I didn't have any comparables. Does the low number (0009) add any value for a collector?
