I am looking at purchasing a 1970 olds 442 w-30 in texas and would like a professional look at it to ensure it is being properly represented.
Any idea on resources for this

Your best bet is to read up and learn what makes the w30 the w30 this includes heads intake trans carb and distributors numbers.

then either verify these items or find a reputable appraiser that will verify them for you.

there are a lot of misrepresented cars out there.

there is a member on here Steve minore that has done verification work for other olds enthusiasts he is based in CT.

Can't go wrong with Patton aka 70Post or Steve. Both good friends and both very knowledgeable.

You can contact N Texas Olds club and ask for Chris Drelling or costpenn on here. They may be willing to help.

Have you been able to get a knowledgeable person to take a look at this yet?
