Engine accessory paint, air cleaner, brackets, etc.

'72 Cutlass Supreme 442. Came with 350 now has a '72 455. I searched the forums and couldn't find any references to paint types, ie: gloss, semi-gloss, satin....for the breather, alternator bracket, A/C brackets. I did see someone said Eastwood ceramic paints are best to use. Is there a guide on what types of paint to use on what? Thanks for the help.

Look through the major builds section. There have been a couple members post very detailed restorations on 1970-72 cars and you should be able to read what they used.

I did use the eastwood high temp ceramic engine enamel. I did spray it using on of the hobby aerosol can sprayers with a little reducer. all the bolts and hinges were sprayed with eastwood cast and detail grays. The black pieces were sprayed with vht high temp engine paint. The exhaust manifolds were painted with por15 manifold paint.
