emergency cable removal

I need help in removing my emergency brake front cable. Cable runs from the emergency brake pedal thru the frame to the adjustable end at the intermediate cable. I have the spring clip removed at the frame rail, but it appears that the part that the spring clip attaches to is to large to pass thru the frame, on the other side of the frame rail the cable is definitely larger with no clip of any kind holding the cable.
Can someone please tell me how to get this frigging cable out.
Car is a 69 442 with a 4 speed tranny
Calling on Joe or Eric for help

See this video, using a hose clamp worked great for me.

I used the same hose clamp method for the end inside the car. My problem is with the end that goes through the frame rail near the end that connects to the intermediate cable.
The pic I posted is where I cannot get it thru the frame rail.
I appreciate your reply

It got installed at the factory, so obviously it comes back out. It's rusted in place. Don't be afraid to use force.

I finally got the stubborn bastard out. I cut the cable very close to the frame rail, and with the proper tools (BFH) and punch, it finally went thru the frame rail. Now just waiting on parts.
Thanks for your reply’s and suggestions
