Thumbs down Eastwood is Slipping

I have been a customer of Eastwood since 1988, and have had dozens and dozens of orders.

Over the past few years, their customer service has become really poor.

Very slow to respond to e-mails, and calls to their customer service lines result in a disinterested person who is doing you a favor by taking the call.

I guess it is now volume over customer satisfaction.

Time to find another supplier.

I stopped buying from Eastwood when they stopped going to swap meets like Carlisle. I get the equivalent tools from TP now. Good service and free shipping if they don't have the item at the show.

Same here. I don't see them in Englishtown, NJ swap meets anymore.

They had their tent set up at the GM national at Carlisle this year! Just saying!

TP tools is a great supplier of tools and products. When I was doing my cutlass. TP was the place with the cheapest sand paper and it lasted very long compared to norton or mirka even 3m I dare to say. I never liked eastwood price wise.

Eastwood stopped going to meets? No wonder I hadn't noticed them in the past few years.
There have been a few times I've figured, "I'll just pick that up at the next meet," and then not run into the item, but I never put two and two together.

I agree - If I drag my butt a meet, I would expect them to, as well.

I went there on Sunday this year and missed them. Glad they are coming back. I would always stock up on paints and show specials and was very disappointed when they stopped showing up the last few years.

They are hosting meets of their own of late. If you're not happy with them, don't hesitate to hunt Matt down and bust him on it ... he's all over the car-guy and tool forums.
