We had snow today in upstate NY. Just a reminder of things to come for the next 5 months.

And notice the 67 Delta and 69 Cutlass convertible. Also notice that most of the cars are 2drs and very few are black, silver, or white.

Also notice how many pickup trucks in the lot. Nobody would be caught dead in a truck back then !

Nice pic , could se a Volvo between Chevy -66 and the early Mustang . When i was younger in the 70-80 ties it was common to drive the US car all year round. Maybe life is to short for only summer driving.

Boat load of Volkswagen's in that picture. Retractable roof bug even. Are those not considered imports?
I Love old parking lot pictures. 69 Oldsmobile ragtop and a 69 Pontiac ragtop for starters.

I see quite a few more doors and wagons in your picture Joe. I agree with the pickup comment, there were not many people driving them back in the 60's and 70's compared to today.

That may be a regional thing. There were lots of pickups in my high school parking lot in SW Louisiana in the 80s. Back then a friend went to Maryland and said pickups were nearly nonexistent, and riding in back of the few was a “unique” experience there, compared to an everyday thing in LA.
