there's a guy in wisconsin that has a 65 starfie convertible he wants 3500 i have 3000 plus he lives 1000 miles away i have a fairly decent 65 jetstarr88 54000 miles good starter project should i sacrifice jetstarr for starfie? HELP!

The distance is not too bad. If the car runs good, fly one way, check it out, and drive it home if you like it!
A roadside assistance program would be good to have though just in case of trouble...

All the old cars I have bought (or planned to buy) were about 1500 miles away...
