Hi--

Hopefully someone can help me here as I'm at the stage where I am either replacing my dome light or leaving the one in that came with the car.

Replacement dome lights for a '68 are shiny plastic chrome. The one in my car is currently a dullish silver/chrome. Question is, which is correct? Was the original in my car originally shiny chrome and has just dulled over the years? Or should it be a more "brushed" chrome look?
