Does this look familiar?

Note the rocker arms. Yeah, this is a Holden V8. Also note the Buick-style front cover, but in mirror image (oil pump on the left instead of the right). I guess that's due to the Coriolis effect.

Interesting, did not know about the Holden V8, thanks Joe. But in the article it says "... the ignition distributor is driven from the rear, unlike any American production V8." Olds, Pontiac & Chevy were driven from the rear.

I think where they are going with that is that unlike any American production V8, the distributor does not drive the oil pump. On a Buick, the distributor is in the front, directly above that oil pump. Here, the oil pump is driven from the front of the crank, the distributor from the back of the cam. It just wasn't worded that well.
