Do I need this

Switching to m22z from t350. 72 cutlass convertible. Will be using repop console shifter and console.

Says it welds to the cross member for Muncie with console

thats chevelle only to use a factory "muncie" manual shifter

has nothing to do with a cutlass..at all

the 68-72 chevelles had a special cross member for manual trans cars..the shifter actually bolts to the cross member..that bracket gets cut off is you use hurst shifter in a chevelle because the hurst shifter hits it..

you need the Hurst adapter that bolts to the tail housing like a 442/cutlass...it bolts to the trans and the shifter bolts to it..

you wont use that bracket in a cutlass.

Is your crank drilled for a manual trans?
