This is the car from the ad above. Guy was a lot more creative. Claims its LS powered with AC and OD. $5500 gets you all kinds of "individuality".

The OP car is a mess.

The one in Jersey is just u-u-gly, but I do appreciate the Young Frankenstein reference.

The '59 shows actual signs of craftsmanship. I can't tell if it's a hybrid Olds/El Camino or if it's built entirely from an 88/98 donor. Those Buick wheels look pretty good too.

Cool Jeepster next to it also.

It was a creation using the two cars. The work was done by a body man by trade. He just got too old to finish it out and ultimately passed on. His son had it for sale there on the car corral. I thought that it had good bones. Probably would take another $30k to make it right.

No price, he had told me but I forget exactly how much. It had the Olds driveline. Well north of 10. It did not sell at the meet.

Thanks, I would put it in the 5 G range from what I can see, the bed looks like diamond plate... kinda heavy stuff if that's what it is, and looks like bed is not finished, back glass not installed? I still like it, but some people like the Pontiac Aztec...

I'm amazed how many were tried to ...& are around.

Reminds me ... Chevy Chase could use one for his Vacation Movies +- (needs rear jump seats for the 2 kids)
