Cowl Tag Decode help please

Can someone decode this cowl tag or direct me in the right direction. The most concern is interior color. It looks pearl. What was the code for pearl in 71. I know 977 was white in 72.

I think this is the same tag I sent info for last night on the Facebook group.

Sienna, white top, pearl interior. Pearl was the only "white" interior option in 1971, so the 977 code still applies.

To address your main concern Trim code 977 is a white, not pearl, A65 split bench seat with center armrest.

The car is a 71 442 Cutlass Supreme vert, Sienna lower body with white top. Built At Lansing third week of June 1971 so it's a very late production car.

Terry, why wouldn't pearl be listed as the color instead of white?

Just fact-checked myself - Actually, in 1970, Olds called the color "Ivory" instead of white (it has a pearl cast to it), in 1971 they called it White (but it has the same pearl cast to it as 1970), and in 1972 they called it White, and it is a more pure white than 70-71. All used the 977 code.

Interesting. I know the 1970 977 Ivory was pearl looking but not the 1971. IMO there should have been a distinction between 'white' and 'pearl' on the TR codes. Would make the interpretation of 977 much easier.
