It looks right at a glance. I can only assume that the doors on chevelles, skylarks and cutlass' were all the same size. But it seems to be the same as what I put on my '71.

I picked up all of my replacement weatherstripping from OPGI a few years ago. Yes, they were more expensive that most places, but unlike many others that I have heard from, there was not trimming needed on any of the pieces (like the window felts). Everything fit perfectly.

In this case however, the door weatherstripping should not require any trimming from whomever you get it from. I would suggest Fusick since it is cheaper than where you were looking before.

Since we are talking about weatherstripping...
I have been trying recently to find a kit for a 1975 Olds Omega 2dr hatchback.. Not having any luck finding it all in one place.
Have found doors/hatchback seal, however, I can't find the quarter window seals anywhere.
I looked for a kit on the Metro site and didn't find anything close even in the Nova/Skylark/Ventura links..

Can anyone help me out? I don't mind ordering the quarter window seals separately if I have to but can't find anything that says it will fit.

Would a N*va not fit? Although I'm unsure if they came with a hatchback or not.

I ordered from Summit, mostly because they accept paypal. Just the doors and trunk. Paid about $70 including shipping.

Yeah, I have found the doors and hatch a couple of places but not the quarter windows. They leak pretty bad so I need to replace the seals but can't find anything made to suit my car or any of the similar body styles. Was hoping there might be someone who had done it already. Worst case I guess I'll just take them off and measure em.

I am having fits with this topic. I keep putting off buying weatherstripping for my car? I am to the point that I have to decide what brand to get and I simply don't know what brand I want. The parts place has a new style that is supposed to be more like factory but i can't find anyone that has tried it. It is much more pricy than the other stuff out there and I don't want to be a guinea pig.

I feel ya man. It took me a couple of months until I finally threw caution to the wind. It's very confusing. Summit sells the Metro brand. I'll let you know how they work but it may be a while. I'd like the temp to be above zero when I install

Macadoo I tried them but they didn't have any kits for Omega specifically.
They had a kit for a 2dr sedan Nova but the trunk seal won't fit the hatchback.

I'm going to buy the closest thing I have found from Steele rubber, so I'm just looking for the quarter windows now. I can't seem to find anything even for cars similar to mine. ( I swear I have looked all over the place, there might be something that fits but I've looked up skylark parts, nova parts, ventura parts, nada.. )
It's frustrating, the quarter windows are a swing-out type and they leak like sieves.

Yeah, I looked around a little too and just didn't see anything. Maybe someone here with more knowledge could help more. Maybe start a new post in the "General" section?

The Metro seals seem pretty good to me. Just a basic soft rubber. I haven't gotten to the doors yet but I replaced the trunk and the quarter windows and they went right in, no issues.

I'm not sure what factory quarter seals were like. I had one that was the soft rubber and not in bad shape but the other window had more of a hard plastic in place of the rubber. That was broken and letting in a lot of air. Which was factory?

The trunk seal that I replaced [I'm pretty sure] was the original. Some of it was missing and/or built back up with black silicone. The Metro replacement looked exactly the same and they even gave me about three more feet than I needed. I was worried it would be too short; that turned out to not be a problem.

Thanks, I have been hearing good things about metro and think that is the brand I will end up going with.
