Clutch Pedal Squeak

My clutch pedal squeaks and it drives me crazy. It's coming from the pivot point up under the dash area. Tried squirting some WD-40 up on the bushings but it doesn't seem to help. I can't remember if I put any grease on the pivot point when I installed it. Hopefully someone has an easy fix for this.

It's been a while since I messed with A body clutches. DO they have plastic sleeve bushings in the pivots?

Maybe the nut/bolt is TOO tight???

Yes, grease would work better......WD is too thin to last long

Do not use petroleum-based lubricants on plastic parts. The petroleum will soften the plastic. Use only silicone lubricants.

And WD-40 is NOT a lubricant.
