Indetermninable squeak from left front suspension

I have UMI tubular control arms with taller ball joints and stock spindles, all of which I installed this summer. At this point I'm hearing a squeak from my left front wheel when I turn the wheel as it's off the ground. I've tried to grease the ball joints, but the sound persists. I didn't change the tie rods when I changed the control arms. The squeak is only heard at about quarter turn, and only going one way, not both.

Is a squeak a symptom of a dying tie rod?

For those who wondered; this was caused by the disc backing shield rubbing on the LCA.

Thanks for sharing I have not installed my tubular control arms yet I will keep a eye out for that

Did it rub and needed trim or was it bent and hitting it ?

Also what align specs did you follow OE or other ?

It just needed a slight bending, nothing extreme at all. Hard to tell if it was stock or not, to be honest. No trimming, just some 'coaxing'.
