Classic Oldsmobile Website

I haven’t been a member here for long but the forum is very impressive and I am grateful to those who are willing to go out of their way and share their knowledge and experience. The jousting and bantering can be entertaining but it seems as though true camaraderie exists here.

Can someone share a history of how things got started here ? Who came up with the idea and got the wheels rolling ? I’m sure that there must be some “Founding Fathers” who signed on and helped. Who designed and maintains the website ?

Thanks - Mike

We try to pride ourselves as mature adults.
Unlike other testosterone-ridden sites, we try to maintain that gentleman's hot rod attitude. We do OK,

A couple of us Old(s) farts can get a little parsnipity especially if a repeated question is asked with zero research on the posters part, but that's just the crustiness rearing up every now n then.

Here are some "suggestions" for your blogging pleasure.

This happens to be one of the better sites / forums out there....
Tons of Oldsmobile (and more) knowledge within these settings... Hands on, catalog knowledge, and far beyond.
Plenty of parts -- New and Used, parts cars and more.

If you have Oldsmobiles, you will be happy to be part of the community !!!

I am also a gun enthusiast, I post from time to time on a Smith and Wesson site, there are several and I found the same thing, some are better than others , one is head and shoulders above the rest and I post only on that site. I found it to be the same here people willing to help, answer questions and share knowledge and for the most part in a civil fashion, most have a sense of humor and don't take themselves to serious. good people.
