anyone arranging anything for classic olds gorup to meet during 2023 OCA Nationals?

I'm not sure how it'll look, but I'd like to be there as much as possible.

 

I guess Date time and location

 

I have usually arrange these meetings in the past. The last national for me was 2018 and we Rick, Joe and a few others for a drop with few adult beverages.
We have had bigger turnouts (30-40) at grub time, but that can lead to extra costs??? for a separate room.
FYI I am in for whatever. Just make sure that the event is not during Friday judging.

I had a good time in 2016 at Kingsport, TN CO meet up, so hope to participate again. I was at the 2018 Nats, but must have missed the meeting.

 

Well are we going to try and meet?? Maybe just for drinks on night at host hotel????.

Wish I could stay longer, but I'm only able to attend Thursday and set up for swap meet. I won't have the trailer setup as I did for Homecoming, but will bring enough for a couple spots.

So I'll only be able to catch up with CO buddies who stop by.

I hope we can meet up also. Pat did set up a meeting in Gettysburg ( think it was..) and it was fun. I wonder if a member of CO who is also a member or the hosting club ( or just lives around Dayton) would be willing to ask the host hotel manager if we could get a meeting room for a hour or so. We wouldn't need much. Not really a formal room rental or anything.. I was once at a hotel with the Red Cross. 6 or 8 volunteers were siting in the lobby. I asked the receptionist if we could use a meeting room. She said I would have to reserve it in advance, pay for it, on and on... I said forget it. Then the manager came by and I asked her if we could just use a small meeting room for a hour or so? SURE, and she let us in, and we used that room every morning for our morning meetings. It just depends on connections or a friend contact which is hard to do long distance. Well I hope we can meet up.

 

Hi Greg, I would get a hold of Ken Nicholas and find out where the OCA community room is and when is it open for us to borrow it for and hour or so. Or we can meet at the hotel bar also.

The hotel bar seemed to work pretty well when we did this in Kingsport.
