Classic Exhaust?

Thinking about getting a new stock exhaust from Classic Exhaust for the '65 Vista Cruiser. Comments, other suggestions? I can install myself, but also know how to write a check (to a local shop). Classic isn't far from me.

I usually take the car to a small exhaust shop who custom bends the exhaust system w/aluminized steel pipe. It seems to be a better way to do it unless you are looking for correctness as in a factory type restoration. That way if there are problems down the road you know where to take it.

I've used Classic in Geneva. I had a good experience. Just remember, "cash is King" just saying.

Plus, going to an exhaust shop the owner can give you advice on what diameter pipe to use and what mufflers to use. You can probably save some money too since most exhaust shops carry "house brand" mufflers.

Classic built the stainless exhaust system for my 1970 Cutlass wagon. They also upsized the tail pipes from the mufflers out 2 1/4 from 2 inches with no problems. It fit reasonably well, the only modification I had to make was relieving the downtube against the left aft a arm mount which is fairly typical with 70s A bodies. I’m really looking forward to hear them.
