Tonight was the season opener for our local cruise night and car show at Route 66 Restaurant . Now, finding just ANY Olds at ANY car show is rare enough but to have 4 '64-'65 Cutlass and 442's in the same place?? Talk about a treat! The green one took best BOP. The yellow one just came out of the paint shop and had a hint of pearl added to the Saffron that looked real cool. Beautiful....Sure glad some places are able to show & cruise. All we've had is rain & more rain after a record amount of snow this past winter in Michigan.

I know the '64 442, yellow '65 442 and our '65 Cutlass will be in Reno. The Cutlass ain't mine, I've been helping him work on that thing for over 20 years (He's had it since 1971). It was painted in 1994. Hopefully, I'll have my '66 on the road within a year. HOPEFULLY! Here's a little vid I made of his '65 after a little tuning. AH i wish i was there but then again glad nobody had to see my car must have been nice to mingle though! that red and white '65 is so sexy in person.

 

I found a major vacuum leak on the car since you last saw it. Sounds and runs tons better now. He laid the smack down on a '70 396 Chevelle and a modified Trans Am after the show. This Wed will be the Castons get together again. Hoping the weather will hold out, they're talking rain on Wed.

 

oh god it gets better?! lol why was i not there to gloat with/for him?! lol i can't knock chevelles though..my '67 blew the doors off of a '98 vette my sisters ex bf was driving it made my day to see him in agony while they were still together. but the trans am should be burned i might be able to make castons but i will have to leave early due to work early in the morning
