Hello Olds family im dropping a mild 455 into a 79 cutlass and i was wondering about my cooling system . My uncle has an old motor home behind his house , supposedly it had a 455 in it not really sure about that . The radiator is all thats left and its a huge 4 core gm radiator . Is it possible if i flush and clean it up i could use it in the 455 cutlass ?

 

Tape measure is your friend. I seriously doubt it will fit in the cutlass core support. Not a lot of room in there to even modify the support.

If it fits and you can get radiator hoses to attach it to the engine use a high-rated radiator flush to give it a thorough cleaning.
