Cam Info ?

I would like to know how this cam is going to act in my 425. Is this similar to a stock cam and what engine would have used a cam similar to this?
Thanks in advance.

I'm not an engine, guy, but, that looks like a fairly mild grind.
I posted mainly to mention to make sure this cam will work
with the bank angle of your engine-39 deg. or 45 deg.

Pretty small cam for a 425, would be a bottom end torque monster with no top end power. Decent cam for a mild 350.

Other than the higher lift, that doesn't seem too different from the cam used in the base 350 motors. That's pretty much an "RV" cam in a BBO.

May want to make sure it's not too high of compression, you'll likely want to be running premium, likely prone to pinging on hot days when lugging around.

One thing I forgot to mention is that I believe Engle rates their advertised duration values at 0.008", rather than 0.006" (comp/bullet) or in some cases 0.004" (crane I think). Therefore, the Engle cam will look slightly smaller than others due to the way they rate it.

Paul, I used the jm 18-20 cam in my 425 and it performed well. Nice idle and plenty of low end torque.
