cam bearings

i have been waiting for a set of durabond 0-6b back cut cam bearings from summit racing for 4 months, kind of getting pissed about this, does anyone see why i cant just get a set of any cam bearings an just groove them myself? they dont look too special to me, thoughts anyone?

Have you looked to see if any of the Olds vendors have them? Rocket Racing, Supercars Unlimited, Bill Travato, OPP (I'm not down), BMRE, Mark Remmel, even eBay and Amazon

Gotta dig to find shelf stock out there somewhere. I snagged the 2 sets I found a few months ago.

Yes, you can cut the groove yourself, nothing extremely special about it. It's less than half the depth of the shell.

I tried a couple of local shops, not on the books, and everyone on line says out of stock , only one place , but they are charging $100.00 for em , not into getting gouged
