cadmium plated booster

cadmium plated booster

just got in my new brake booster thats gold cadmium plated and wanted to spray it with a clear coat to protect the finish. was wondering how this might hold up?

some say the the brake fluid is too corrosive and will ruin the clear coat, but if you use synthetic or are really careful, it may hold up. My thoughts are don't bother just try to keep the new surface clean.
