Cadmium Plating

I would like to have some gas caps and master cylinder covers cadmium plated. Can anyone recommend a business that would charge a fair price and wouldn't mind plating small items? I know Eastwood has a kit, but I'd rather have the parts plated instead of sprayed. Thanks for any input.

www.bassplating.com located in CT

They will zinc plate and chromate small parts jobs. Ask for Rocky.

Its not CADmium but it comes out a nice yellow with irridescent red and green highlights.

I had my oil filler cap and master cylinder cover done for my Trans Am 403...came out great!

(edit: they also do a clear chromate that comes out chromey silver looking, and several other colors.)

Not sure I would use cad plating. It use to be very common, but has been phased out of many applications due to various issues (google for details). It is now prohibited in a lot of applications, so finding someone that can do it is harder than it use to be. Plus old cad plated parts tend to have a lot of corrosion, which suggests it doesn't work that great over the long haul.
