Bummer! One less

Through ebay I met a car guy living in Klamath Falls Oregon, a town about 100 miles from me with a dry desert climate. He told me about a 1969 442 in a local bone yard. When he found it it was missing the front fenders and hood, engine and trannie (4 spd) and the roof was caved in from a car being stacked on it. He pulled the bucket seats, console, bumpers, rear end and a few other parts. He also said it was rust free, with pristine quarter panels and floor pan. I asked him to check and see if it was still there as I have a 1968 Cutlass with rust in the lower panels, I might have been able to put the two together and save it. When he went back they had run one of the forklift forks through a rear quarter panel and stacked a couple cars on it. Bad timing.... if I could have found out about it a week or two sooner I might have been able to get it John

Truly a sad incident. Sorry you missed an opportunity.

...and women say men don't cry, this brought a tear to my eye. So I guess it's not true after all.
