Brought 2 more home a little over a week ago! One is a 1971 Cutlass S with 41k original miles, still has bias tires on all 4 and on the spare! The other is a 1969 f-eightyfive 95k miles with original 6cyl/auto! I have finally had a chance to start cleaning on the 71. They have both been in storage for a while so they do need more clean up and detail. Will post a few pics the 71 from this evening.

What is the story with the '71, which lead to the low mileage, and beautiful condition? Nice car.
Not sure of the story behind it. I know it is very nice and very original, numbers matching on the engine, still has tower clamps on hoses and still has the original battery cables! I haven't checked trans yet. All tires are bias but not original. I will get more pics in the next day or 2.
I thought about going to that auction. I wanted that 71, as it is a close twin to one of my first cars.
let me know if you decide to sell.
It is a close cousin to my first car. My 71 Monte Carlo that I have owned for over 30 years is also Sandalwood with no vinyl top so that is also a reason I went to the auction specifically to buy this car!

Probably a good thing I did not attend the auction, this could have gotten nasty, LOL enjoy the car, it looks great!

Thanks! Nothing against you, but yes, I am glad you didn't make it! There didn't seem to be any real hardcore Oldsmobile guys there other than myself, mostly just flippers.
Nice Cutlass. Unusual to see a Sandlewood interior. I believe it was a late availability interior color if I remember correctly. Nice to see something different.
The color you are referring to is called Sienna, a one year only color. I have only seen two or three cars with a Sandlewood interior. Sienna was a recommended color for Sandlewood. I have a Sienna 71 Cutlass Supreme SX with a Sienna interior.

It is a late build, 5th week of June I believe. My 71 Monte has dark saddle buckets console interior.
