If you have a problem with them, it turns into a full blown vendetta with threats.

The folks who own that place are super vindictive, and hold grudges that last forever.

Go open your door and put head between the jamb and door and slam it hard three times. This will be your experience with Brothers except you will still have your money.

On their website it states Olathe Kansas as their location. Did they have two locations?

I used to live within a few blocks of their place in Stilwell. I went by on occasion but never did see anyone there. The cars parked around would change once in a while so I knew someone had been there. I had them on the phone several times when I was looking to buy a car. They claimed to have a number of cars for sale near their shop in St. Joseph MO (if I remember correctly) I tried several times to get them to let me see their cars but they were always too busy with the "high end restoration work" they claim to do. I finally got tired of it and bought elsewhere. I will never attempt to do any business with them again.

I used to live about a mile from their Olathe office (didn't know it until a month before I moved). I spoke with the guy on the phone a couple times and wanted to walk around their office but never could sync a time he was there. Seemed nice. I guess its a lot easier to deal with people face to face though.

Their "legal department" isn't running on all cylinders, lol. Document any and all communication with them, just in case any problems arise.

my personal opinion..and most everyone i know and run with...if i have to "document" anything with them, and i know that in advance, no way would i even consider spending my money with them...

not just them..but any "business" doing business in my hobby.

It was a lesson learned after I ordered my parts and patiently waited. And waited. After a month of no communication and them already taking my money, I called and it went down hill from there, eventually getting my card company involved in getting my money back.

So bright and early this morning I get a phone call from Brothers Automotive. He did not state his name but he went on and on about how he saw a post on here (Classic Oldsmobile) about his company which I did not post. He left a threat about me and gave me until 5:00 pm today to call him back or I would get my due.

Funny I did not post anything about his company as he stated. I posted my experience with another company that was not positive.

So, I called him. Turns out he did not see a post someone else did.

I suggested he get his story straight prior to making accusations.

I guess i am one of the fortunate ones -- i made one purchase from them about 2 years ago and had no problem. Got my order in a timely fashion and all was OK and correct.
Cant even remember off hand what i ordered, but it was something i couldnt get from another vendor or it was at a lesser price?
So -- proceed with caution at your own risk!

The most vindictive people in the hobby.

Their business is supported by revenge, threats, and trouble.

Their vendettas with people never go away.

Looks like I'm one of the lucky ones as well. I recently bought a pile of parts from
Brothers - 2 page invoice. They were great to deal with and I'm happy with the product.
There were some decals that didn't make the shipment. I sent a E mail letting them know and the decals were sent without question.

There are too many good options for parts sources to make dealing with them worth while in my opinion.
