Front/rear bumper from Brothers Automotive Parts?

To a Cutlass/442 -1969. So how are they, nice chrome, fitting? Worth the price (439$ ea) or are they just crap? Im thinking of ordering since my both bumpers are in such bad conditon.

I don't recall ever reading a positive response about them. I believe I would look elsewhere. 'Nuff said.

What about re-chroming your current bumpers?

I don't know about their bumpers, but in my dealings with them I have found they are over priced. When I bought my car, I paid $50 plus shipping for the two bolts that attach the top cylinder to the convertible frame. Yesterday I called to see if they had an assembly manual. It's 29 bucks plus $13 for shipping. They're in KC, I am in St. Louis.

Thats an option but thats way to expensive for me, I live in Sweden and yesterday I talkt to a company that re-cromes bumpers and stuff, they took about 20000kr or 3000$ for one bumper and I dont have those kind of money. Thats why im intrested in the BAP bumpers since I can get both front and rear for 878$ + shipping.

I am constantly amazed how many old classic American muscle cars appear all over the globe.

There are other vendors that sell them. I would check with them.

Lookinto these guys; they do ship worldwide. I got a quote from them for my 67, but am waiting to when I get to that point in the project. The price wasn't to bad, but shipping will certainly be more.

There are several sources for bumpers/re-chroming in the back of Hemmings motor news. I would avoid BAP if possible.

I've heard Restoration Chrome is good. Anyone have experience with them? Not sure what shipping would be to Sweden!

Here is the link to their price guide (which is based on a core exchange):

Hi Guys,

Just trying to continue this thread. I'm also looking for a 1969 442 rear bumper. I'm really afraid of buying from BAP based on all the negative feedback. Are there any other dealers out there that carry these bumpers. Fusick and Tamraz don't carry 69 442 rears and I also don't have a core since I want to keep my S bumper for future use. Any suggestions on other dealers. Thanx guys.
