Wow that is in remarkable shape! Does the red tag have any writing on it? And on the drivers seat. I've only seen them hog ringed to the back seat.

Cool.

Wow lots of options!!

A31 electric windows
A39 deluxe seat-belts
A46 is electric 4-way seat

AU5 is electric door lock and seat back release
That is very rare, my car has that and I have never seen it on another A-body before

Ok, Mark, I know you know this so this is for anyone who just is seeing the broadcast card for the first time.

That's not the VIN you blacked out, it's the body number that was assigned by Fisher to the car when it was pieced together as a car body. It has no relation to the VIN at all. The VIN was the last 6 digits assigned by the Assembly line, and matches the VIN derivative on the engine, transmission and frame.

That's way cool. Reminds me of the red tag found in the dash of the Plum Crazy '70 442

Ted (sammy on this site) found 4 of those when he tore down his 68 442. He posted them on his thread.

Really? I must've missed it as I am following that thread. Blank red ones or Special Order labeled ones?

Just an idea as to why the seat covers were "huge" compared to stock. I have a '71 cutlass vert. I also have the original window sticker which listed one of the options as an "overstuffed front seat".

I have to say that overstuffed seat is comfortable. It's like riding on a cloud when I go down the road.
