i thought this was cool..i was a a buddies shop today, they are putting seat backs on a 70 Cutlass vert, because the old plastic is falling apart from age...
he said the seat covers where huge compared to stock..but there it was hog ringed to the drivers seat frame...notice theres a red tag..and a code circled in red....CO-inky-dink or has meaning?
since ive never seen one in a Olds...i was pretty excited....well..intrigued..lol

Wow lots of options!!
A31 electric windows
A39 deluxe seat-belts
A46 is electric 4-way seat
AU5 is electric door lock and seat back release
That is very rare, my car has that and I have never seen it on another A-body before

That's not the VIN you blacked out, it's the body number that was assigned by Fisher to the car when it was pieced together as a car body. It has no relation to the VIN at all. The VIN was the last 6 digits assigned by the Assembly line, and matches the VIN derivative on the engine, transmission and frame.

I have to say that overstuffed seat is comfortable. It's like riding on a cloud when I go down the road.
