Some great list going here. Some great notes added also.
Makes it interesting.
I only listed cars that were in my name.
Honestly some were beaters and looking back some of my beaters would be very welcome today.

Keep em coming!

Holy moly! Some of those are serious lists! All over the ice too in a lot of respects. If any of you are like me, if anyone asks you about a specific date in the past, I usually start with "hmmmm - what was I driving then?"
My list is longer than some, shorter than most, spanning 26 years.
Here goes:
1970 beetle - first car
1972 beetle
1969 euro convertible beetle ( I like old vws, K?!?)
1971 Skylark ragtop - big red bondo turd I got screwed on
1965 cutlass post coupe - sold to my buddy who had it crushed
1971 Cutlass Supreme - sold for parts for next to nothing
1981 Buick Regal - written off by a kid rearending me while changing CDs
1984 Cutlass Calais - My favourite to this point. Buckets, console, guage package
1972 beetle - moved out west, needed cheap car. My buddy wrote that one off
1966 cutlass - 2 dr hardtop nearly perfect, sold it on a whim
1983 cutlass - 2 dr bench for the instant family I acqiured with my lovely wife
2000 Focus - first new car ever. good car, payments suck.
2002 Windstar - minivan dorkmachine traded focus for. Gave it back too.
1993 buick lesabre
1979 1/2t suburban
1977 BB 3/4t suburban
----moved to Australia----
1974 Jaguar XJ6, short wheel base, right hand drive - the mustard missile -
1999 Pathfinder - rhd
----moved back home ---- ( Jag came home with me)
2002 GMC Jimmy
The current stable
1992 GMC 2500 BB 454 longbed
1974 Jaguar mentioned above
1965 cutlass 2dr ht to be restored
1965 Vista Cruiser, bought for $25.00, to be restored
Another 1965 2dr ht on the way in Jan - Feb.

I think dats dat.

Please excuse all the Hondas but I needed reliable commuters and let's face it, not many domestics would go those miles without major problems.
Makes me sick to look back over this list and see all the 'keepers' I let slip thru my hands! Bet every one of us has seller's remorse.

Neat idea for a thread. I'll play.

1987 Olds Cutlass Supreme Brougham (First car dad bought new, lost to a guy pulling out in front of me and I T-boned him) (This car was never officially in my name) (1987-1997) (I really wanted to keep this car, oh well maybe I'll find another one some day)

1987 Chevy Scottsdale 2wd (First vehicle in my name after the Olds got totalled) (Aug 1997-Dec 1997)

1986 Chevy Scottsdale 4wd (Traded in the 2 wheel drive on a nicer 4 wheel drive) (1997-1999)

1997 Chevy Scottsdale 4wd 3/4 ton (Decided I needed a 3/4 ton for towing) (1999-2000)

1969 Olds Cutlass S (First Olds in my name) (1999-present)

1986 GMC High Sierra 4wd 3/4 ton (I made a bad decision here and thought lower payments was a good idea) (2000-2001)

2002 Chevy LS 4wd 1/2 (First brand new vehicle, bought late September 2001 trying to help the country by making a large purchase) (2001-2004)

2004 Chevy LS 4wd 1/2 (Second brand new vehicle) (2004-2006)

2006 Mitsubishi Galant (Decided I didn't need a truck anymore) (2006-2007)

2007 Chevy LT 4wd 1/2 Z71 (Decided I didn't like driving a car everyday) (2007-2011)

2011 Ford F-150 XLT 4wd 1/2 SuperCrew Eco Boost (I went to the dark side, GM trucks don't have the room that Ford trucks do)
(2011-present)

By the way I'll be 33 in Feb. so quite a few vehicles in such a short amount of time.

Jon

Those were the days. Now you see people asking in the thousands for cars with 170K on them.
