Barn Find
I found a 1970 Plymouth GTX 440 magnum A/T sitting in a carport, got in contact with the owner, it has been there since the early 80's.
The body looks good but needs interior work, and he said the motor was rebuilt but seized up shortly thereafter, I might get it at a real bargain.
My plan is to re-sell to help fund my 442.....but this car looks really cool and I checked only about 4900 were produced.

If I wasn't into OLdsmobiles I love the Dodge/Plymouth "B" body cars. I got to drive a few in the mid 70's when I worked at a trim shop and they were awesome to drive. Of course anything you drive when your 18 was awesome to drive.lol

If it's medium blue, that's also known as EB5 on the data plate, which is a very common color. The darker one, EB7, is quite rare. Ditto for the lighter one, EB3. The color should be on the bottom left, with the same color repeated above it if it's a monotone color. With black top, it's V1X, white is V1W. If it's a two-tone car, another color code will be used.

Nice info Diego, I will go see it again today, and get pic's. I looked at an EB7 Blue on the internet it looks like that's the color of this one, but there is so much dust on it.

B7 is subtly darker than B5, but B5 is a lot brighter. I have production figures by option for these cars, so I can help when you get your info.
This is a great site to learn more about the car:

Looks to be B7 with standard hood. If those are badges by the bulge, it's not stock. If it's a decal, maybe it's a 440-6? That would be a V instead of a U in thet VIN . . . memory tells me 678 of those were built.

Not yet, the dude is a little eccentric. I think my interest has given him second thoughts he was telling me how fun it was etc. I can't blame him it's a cool car.
I found out it's fact color was Ivy Green Metallic it's and auto A/C car with a 440 Commando he had it rebuilt .30 over before it sat and now it is seized.
Well I'll keep ya'll posted hopefully soon...

Back in the late 80's, I was cruising in my L79 ChevyII one summer afternoon. I came to a stop at an intersection and guess what pulled up beside me. You guessed it, '70 GTX wanting to bang gears. Based upon my prior experiences with big block Mopars, I was not worried about losing
What caught me off guard was what raised from the hood. It was a scoop with a blood shot eye with shark teeth on the side. It reminded me of the famous WWII Flying Tigers. Long story short, I was intemidanted and back down.
Sorry for the road down memory lane but when I saw the attached GTX picture, memories were as if they were from yesterday
