Make a scan of the build sheet, and post it. Someone will help with deciphering it.
Also, type out the VIN # from the dash by the inspection sticker. Even more info (paint color) can be derived from the plate under the hood on driver side on top of the firewall (or cowl area).
Photos are a big plus on this sight. Post them.

If it's all orginal, it's going to have "GA" heads and 396021 FA block.
Head casting is on the corner of the head around the number 1 (or number 2) spark plug (pending on which side you're looking at and the block casting is in the valley between the timing cover and intake manifold

Is the Hurst shifter a dual gate automatic or a stick? The U code engine was the automatic engine. A manual trans 455 would have been a V code. The dual gate would have been option code W-26.
Unless the build sheet says W-29 on it, this is a U code Cutlass Supreme convertible. Still pretty rare.

Sounds like a cool car whatever it is, power windows in a convertible are mandatory IMO. I don't mean to get too off subject but is the car yours or a customers? I'm in Bainbridge Twp. so maybe I'll get to see it if it's on the road around here if it isn't a trailered show car.
I need my Vista Cruiser painted if you want to practice on an Olds, all body work done (I hope) and in primer, you can see it to the left.
