hello im new in here just wanted to get any info on a new clients restoration im doing.its a 72 cutlass convertible u code yellow black top black interior im triying to find how to decode the build sheet i found in it yesterday,i think it has the suspension package on it also but im not sure,it has the rear sway bar on it also,so im thinking it does how do i find out,please help if you can i am a bodyshop owner close to cleveland oh and doing a concourse restoration myself on this vehicle,i will probaly be on this site with you guys over the winter to make sure everything is correct,it has power windows also 70,000 original miles and 1985 license plates on it still and somewhat a mess any help would be apperciated thanks shawn

That's actually a broadcast card used by Fisher Body. It has body-related options but not chassis or drivetrain info.

Build date was Aug 16 (MO 08, DAY 16).
Car is a Cutlass Supreme convertible (34267)
Interior trim is ??? (Don't have my ref books handy)
Paint is Sunfire Yellow (56)
Top is Black (B)
A31 = Power windows
A51 = Bucket Seats
AK1 = Shoulder Belts
C60 = Air Conditioning
U58 = AM/FM stereo radio

 

ok got it thanks i found this under the carpet by the drivers seat i almost ripped it..im going to dismantel the rest of the car soon ill keep posted can i tell from the cowl tag if its got the upgraded suspention
