Oh, my bad. I apologize. Octania, he's not calling you out as I suspected. He is calling out the other forgers on this site...like, er, uh...who else is there? Oh that's right...

Ok, so you stated your piece...you're worried about the hobby...or your investment, whichever. Good for you. I just like the body style, I don't need to make money off of it. There will always be a select few original documented cars...the rest, well, they're just cars for people to enjoy until they keel over and die. I'll keep enjoying my cars and you keep worrying about your investment, cheers!

Are we sure this whole thread has not been forged??
A controversial topic for sure, but thanks to all for keeping it civilized, and even a bit humorous...
Pogo, if you really want the tread closed, just PM myself or one of the other mods. It looks to have been a fun hangout though!

Now back to my night job of stamping VIN and cowl plates...............

Just one man's thoughts for his own car.

Personally, I would like to see Chris
and the fellow who forges, or, uhh, I mean
reproduces the breathers for the 69 W-30
get together and offer a kit. Add heads if wanted.
They would operate as they should and the cool
factor would be so sweet. Heck, you can order red inner fenders.
All this for a fraction of the price of originals IF
you could even find them. I have a 398662 D2
sitting on a shelf myself waiting for....

I can certainly do one up for you - got the dies right here. Numbers matching is only 29.99 more.
Of course I now sense the probability of a forged check in the mail.......

I like original parts myself. But it sure is nice not to have to kiss some guys butt for parts. I like it when the hoarders get stuck holding their stuff. There has been repop stuff for hundreds of years. It's allways been buyer beware.
