My Olds. My mate has a stall in the big tent, so we rip the back seat out and load up the old bus.

I did get some good gear, a Model A rear spring, which is needed if you run a Quick Change rear in an early ford and a bunch of little bits and piece of early Ford stuff to build Traditional styled Hot Rods. I also picked up a heap of good quality tools to make up tool bags for my cars. The biggest thing was the 1932 Ford fuel tank which is the last big piece I need for the next chassis I'm building.

So was a good weekend for me. I sold a few dollars worth of stuff too. The weather was the worst part, it was quite windy , which makes it dusty and was cool all weekend, but the UV was extreme, so there were a lot of people who got caught out and badly sunburnt.

but I'd do it all over again, I love swap meets- more so than car shows.

Not much Olds stuff though, the local GM affiliate stopped making them in 1948. A few imports but that is it. The Olds utes are cool though.

Thank you for the photos and background information. Always fascinated with the car hobby here and in other countries. Seems there is a common thread with many of us. My brother had a '54 Ninety-Eight, so always intrigued with that era models, as well as all the cars since that period.
