When I replaced the steering boxes in my 63 Riv and 71 Cutlass, I flushed and refilled with power steering fluid. Been 10 years with the Riv and 1 with the Cutlass with no problems.

Just my luck

Thanks for all your input. I attempted to replace my steer shaft seal in the gear box. Old one came out great. New one pressed in wonderful. Guess what????? The junk still leaks just as bad if not worse. I'm feed up with it. Blowin $100.00 bucks this week on a remanufactured one so I can just be done with it.
