Someone up here in the Edmonton area attempted this process. He says it's not easy to get the process right. It looks good if it's done properly but it's hit and miss.

It looks like English to me.

Of course, the body of text is in a Latin-appearing Greeking, which is a sort of nonsense text used by printers for hundreds of years to show customers how a page will look before the actual type is written and cast.

I've seen this stuff up close. A local shop wanted to become a distributer/franchiser/whatever....and came thru the shop where my car is while I was there.

I saw some old Stingray bicycle parts that had been done. Looked kinda like older chrome with a slightly cloudy clearcoat on it.

Might work for smaller detail stuff, but you wouldn't want a bumper done with it....

The chrome process has been mentioned before. It is difficult to find here in the U.S.A.
I have seen it now twice on Leno and both programs avoid to note local domestic distributors. It would be great for interior trim and some exterior trim. I wanted to rechrome my ash trays and door handles and it just isn't worth right now the big bucks.
Wish we could find a domestic dist.

I think I saw this same process used on the show " West Coast Customs " where they did an entire car. Pretty cool stuff.

the text you're reading is just like MDchanic said. It's called "Lorem Ipsum" and it's just filler text for printers.

I only learned this myself recently, so it was easy to recognize again.

or for small detailing you can use Rustoleum Chrome finish paint, works pretty well.
